1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences and to provide information to the website owner. Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (which remain for a specified period).

We also use related technologies such as local storage, session storage and pixel tags that function similarly to cookies. References to “cookies” in this policy include these technologies unless otherwise stated.

2. How We Use Cookies

PyreFi uses cookies for four purposes: to make the Service work correctly (strictly necessary), to remember your preferences (functional), to understand how the Service is used (analytics) and to deliver relevant marketing (marketing, only with consent).

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some features of the Service involve third-party services that may set their own cookies. These include:

  • Stripe: payment processing. Cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google. Cookies governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Plausible Analytics: privacy-first analytics that does not use cookies or collect personal data.

We have no control over third-party cookies. Please review the relevant third-party privacy and cookie policies for more information.

5. Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit PyreFi, a cookie consent banner will appear. You may accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage individual categories. You can change your preferences at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

You may also control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break core functionality such as login and navigation. We recommend keeping these enabled.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers support a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. We currently do not change our data collection behaviour in response to DNT signals, as there is no universal standard for interpreting them. We will update this policy if a standard is adopted.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
